Veganism and Cruelty Free- What we do to help
Veganism is a way of living which excludes all forms of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing, beauty products and any other purposes. When it comes to living a healthy and natural lifestyle, what you put on your body is just as important to what you put into your body. Overtime what we put on our bodies will absorb into our skin, the rate at which this happens depends on the amount of chemicals in the product. If the products you are using , contain harmful ingredients such as harsh, toxic chemicals, colors, and fragrances those products will make their way into your body, bloodstream, and lymphatic system much quicker. Most of the mainstream products contain a cocktail of carcinogenic chemicals, allergens and irritants.
All the products we carry here at NJ's Organic Hair Salon are completely free of Ammonia ,Parabens, are non- toxic , certified organic products that work for you and the planet. Also, all of our products are cruelty free and majority are Vegan friendly! One of the main products we carry here called Natulique is based out of Denmark, where it is illegal to test cosmetics on animals. Therefor Natuique is a proud supporter of the Humane Society.

Intelligent Nutrients (Cruelty free and Plant-based) - Intelligent Nutrition is a environmental company that is 100% organic. Their products are made from renewable energy and are cruelty free. Their medium is making the best beauty and personal care products on earth. These products have no plastics, sulfates, parabens and much more.
Here at NJ's Organic Hair Salon we do not believe in the suffering of animals for products that do not serve any long term or short term benefits to us. If you are unaware, testing on animals is a scientific experiment or a 'test' in which a live animals are forced to undergo something that is likely to cause them pain and suffering. Such as forced feeding, forced inhalation , behavioral experiments such as electric shock and forced swimming. Animals that are commonly used for these type of tests are usually Rats, Bunnies, Mice, Fish and in some countries Cats , Dogs , Mini Pigs and Chimpanzees.
